Absolutely Secure Message Transmission using a Key Sharing Graph
نویسندگان
چکیده
Assume that there are players and an eavesdropper Eve of unlimited computational power and that several pairs of players have shared secret keys beforehand. A key sharing graph is one in which each vertex corresponds to a player, and each edge corresponds to a secret key shared by the two players corresponding to the ends of the edge. Given a key sharing graph, a player wishes to send a message to another player so that the eavesdropper Eve and any other player can get no information on the message. In this paper, we give a necessary and sufficient condition on a key sharing graph for the existence of a protocol for such a purpose. We also give a sufficient condition for the existence of a protocol for the case where a player sends a message to a multiple number of designated players.

In this paper, a new broadcast encryption scheme is presented based on threshold secret sharing and secure multiparty computation. This scheme is maintained to be dynamic in that a broadcaster can broadcast a message to any of the dynamic groups of users in the system and it is also fair in the sense that no cheater is able to gain an unfair advantage over other users. Another important feature...
متن کاملOn the Average Length of Secret Key Exchange Eulerian Circuits
Designing a protocol to exchange a secret key is one of the most fundamental subjects in cryptography. Using a random deal of cards, pairs of card players (agents) can share secret keys that are information-theoretically secure against an eavesdropper. A key set protocol, which uses a random deal of cards, can perform an Eulerian secret key exchange, in which the pairs of players sharing secret...
متن کاملCryptography for Unconditionally Secure Message Transmission in Networks (Invited Talk)
We consider the model of unconditionally secure (r-round, n-channel) message transmission schemes which was introduced by Dolev et al. [1]. In this model, there are n channels between a sender and a receiver, and an infinitely powerful adversary A may corrupt (observe and forge) the messages sent through t out of n channels. The sender wishes to send a secret s to the receiver in r-round withou...
متن کاملQuantum vernam cipher
We discuss aspects of secure quantum communication by proposing and analyzing a quantum analog of the Vernam cipher (one-time-pad). The quantum Vernam cipher uses entanglement as the key to encrypt quantum information sent through an insecure quantum channel. First, in sharp contrast with the classical Vernam cipher, the quantum key can be recycled securely. We show that key recycling is intrin...

During the transmission of data from sender prevents from various attacks. Public key encryption is a technique which provides encryption of data using public key. The existing technique implemented for the searching of keywords with public key encryption provides security from password Guessing attacks [1]. But the technique implemented here enables security from various attacks as fine as als...
